20L Stainless Steel Bucket/Pail
These SS Buckets are eliminating the need for plastic, and not a moment too soon!
This 20 litre/5.3 gallon bucket measures 14"/36cm across the top and are 13.75"/35cmtall.
They are made of 21 gauge (.8 mm thick) 201 Stainless Steel, which is the same type that sinks, cooking utensils and washing machines are made from. It is not considered food grade (300 series) but is 50% stronger than food grade stainless.
In our testing, they have held firm with 50lb of wet clay in two test 20L buckets, even after dropping a foot to the ground. I've had water in all sizes for weeks with no leaks found.
Please note that the handle assembly is NOT stainless, but regular steel.
All buckets have rolled lips and 3 corrugations around the sides which make them stronger and more durable.
This size of bucket does not have an optional lid available.
The steel handles also have a red plastic moulded piece in the middle with indentations for 4 fingers, which makes them more comfortable to carry with a heavy load.
